NARSOL Conference comes to Atlanta
NARSOL‘s annual conference will take place in Atlanta on June 20-23. Registration ranges from $140-$279. Registration for the full conference ($279) includes the Awards banquet on Saturday night. The discounted room rate includes the cost of breakfast for each room guest. You can learn more about the conference and register at https://conference.narsol.org/
FYI: if you are a person of color and would like to attend the conference but can’t afford the conference registration fee, Restore Georgia has FIVE scholarships available that will cover the cost of the conference fee ONLY. Diversity Fellowship Luncheon- 6/21/24- for BIPOC people forced to register and their loved ones
To connect with people of color who are forced to register (and their loved ones), NARSOLand Restore Georgia will host a FREE luncheon on Friday, June 21st (from 11:45am to 1:15pm) to fellowship and connect. Registration and attendance at the conference is not required to attend this free luncheon. However, the event is only open to individuals forced to register and/or loved ones who are Black, Indigenous or other Persons Of Color. Therefore, if you are a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous or other Person Of Color) who are impacted by your state’s sex offense laws and are forced to register (or have a loved one who is) and would like to attend this free luncheon to connect with other people of color on the registry (or their loved ones), share resources and build community, please RSVP you attendance by April 11th at https://forms.gle/fRbDcJkLFyVkP1Ti9.
FYI: the luncheon is limited to 20 people, you must be at least 18 to attend and children, photos or recordings are not allowed!
